  of my likes (part1)
My likes and dislikes do change sometimes, as all women are fickle-minded. I guess it's an indication that my mental and emotional states are evolving (into higher IQ and EQ, hopefully!).

A brief summary of my likes:

- animals...i do like animals a lot..as long as i can see their eyes. I know its weird, but it's pretty cool to be able to look into the eyes of another being and try to guess what it might be thinking, or whether it is capable of thinking at all. However, there are always exceptions. eg. compare staring into the eyes of a lizard, rather than trying to find those of a housefly (from what i know, they have thousands of 'eyes'!)

- astronomy... i like gazing into the night sky, and reading up on astronomical stuff. not astrology but the planetary, heavenly bodies in universe. took a couple of cross facualty modules in uni (smthing like study of the universe blah blah) where we studied the different features of our solar systems, the diff types of stars (white dwarf, etc), nebulas, black holes and many more. Since young i've always been mesmerized by what is in our sky. Still fresh in my mind was the the night before my A level Lit paper, I stayed up till 4am in the morning just to catch a glimpse of the meteorites (Leo). Even though I only saw a pathetic 3 or 4 meteorite, I, however, chose to believe that they brought me luck, coz i aced my lit paper! keke...talking about scientific superstition...

- the sea... is the place i need to be at whenever i feel i need a breather. a pity i've not had the luxury to enjoy the seaview at my own time. after the tsunami incident, i am pretty traumatized by what nature could do to us. Not that we have been very kind to mother nature, but something so beautiful can turn destructive as well. Guess this description applies to humanity too.

- time... to myself. I enjoy doing things at my own pace, but i work more efficiently under pressure. From sec to jc, i've travelled quite a long distance to my schools, and the bus journey alone gave me ample time to think, reflect, and daydream. Till now, i still need to retreat and hibernate at time, especially after a period of extreme rushing. This is to keep my sanity and dreams alive.
